From the very starting, Search Engine Optimization played by a genuinely very much-characterized set of principles: Optimize a page for particular Keywords, manage links from different sites that utilize your targeted keywords, etc. While these ways are still pertinent, Google’s Penguin update has put SEO professionals who has been flourishing by manipulating the framework have found the ground shrinking underneath their feet.
Now, it’s time to bring all of it together to form a cohesive strategy document. Let’s revisit what digital strategy means: the series of actions that are going to help you achieve your goal(s) using online marketing.
5. Make sure your website content is focused on your customer’s needs and interests, not your company. A common mistake that companies make on the Internet is focusing their Internet marketing text too much upon themselves. Visitors are more interested in learning about how your products or services can benefit them than about hearing about how wonderful you are or learning about the history of your company. Unlike other media, on the Internet you have very little time to communicate your company’s unique selling proposition (USP). The most effective websites are those that quickly answer the question “Why do I need this product/service?” Here’s a quick test- does your Internet marketing copy use words like “we”, “us”, and “our” more often than words like “you” and “your”? If so, your copy may be too self-centric. A change in focus would likely help you to better connect with your visitors.

Jesse – thanks for your note, but Google is merely focusing (still!) on placing a solution. If you email me, I’ve just written a paper on the entire set of systemic issues that need to be managed that are outside our purview and idiosyncratic, based on change, consensus, buy-in, relationships, etc. There are 13 distinct steps (starting from an idea) that buyers go through to enlist colleagues, figure out if they can fix a problem internally, etc, that buyers go through before they can bring in a new solution. Sales enters at step 10. The Google material isn’t doing anything really different. firstname.lastname@example.org and, btw, my first name is ‘Sharon Drew’ 🙂
16. Guerilla Marketing. Guerilla marketing emphasizes creativity over budget, and strategies are often cheap and easy to implement, especially when localized. Broadcast your Twitter handle with sidewalk chalk, use an abandoned storefront as a canvas for street art, or plaster custom stickers on urban décor that makes those who stroll by look twice. There’s a ton of room for invention here, and you don’t need a big budget to be successful. We did a massive post about guerilla marketing recently, detailing a bunch of strategies and examples you should check out if you want to learn more!
The reality is that you can’t trick your way to the top. Success comes from working hard AND working smart. Success comes quickest, when you find the most direct, effective route from where you are to where you want to be. It looks like this:

A recent study found that the majority of consumers encounter multiple erroneous sites in their daily internet browsing. There are few faster ways to lose a customer than having them drive to the address listed on the website, only to find that the business has moved across town.
Everybody knows how it is like in a technologically sophisticated society like 21st century Singapore. Unsurprisingly, digital marketing strategies are highly relevant in their own state. Almost any company can significantly improve its gains with correctly executed strategies of this type. Running a comprehensive review about the competence of various business units will help you pick the right one to participate.
Another reason you need to take your website seriously, is that almost everyone now uses the Internet to ‘check out’ a potential service provider. Before deciding whether to do business with a provider or not, the vast majority of people will look for the provider’s website! That includes the people YOU market your services to. So, what is your website ‘telling’ them about your business?

Every word, sentence and headline should have one specific purpose — to lead your potential customer to your order page. Write your web site copy as if you are talking to just one person. Identify a problem and validate that one visitor’s need for a solution. Continue to write and explain why your product is the solution to their problem. Tell them exactly what your product will do for them — why it will solve their problems and how. Pack your copy with benefits and more benefits. Write to persuade — that’s the bottom line.
