My organization is sharp and extremely excited about our products, and we actually need our customers to feel the same. Hopefully, they comprehend the load of sweat, energy and effort we’ve put into promotion and the development of our products! Collectively, we looked into several systems consisting the giving from leaflets, printing adverts on papers and magazines, but none could actually meet our primary demands of cost and reach.
Hey Brian, was just about to chime in here with the same info—this course used to be free (including all Coursera courses) with an optional upgrade to the specialization, but there was a recent change. I also told my social media interns about the course and that it was free; they were the ones that alerted me that it no longer was. Looks like Northwestern University in particular no longer allows taking courses that are part of a specialization for free on Coursera. I think some of the other specialization courses are the same now—even if you try to take them individually and without a certificate, they are no longer free. Too bad, because yes, when I took the course a few months ago, it was free and GREAT!
Another mistake many businesses make is to pull away from content marketing all together. This likely results from a trend against guest blogging before the recent Google updates. Aggressive marketers were creating guest blog posts, and then submitting them to anyone who would publish them in return for a backlink to their site. These backlinks were thought to be the perfect marriage of content marketing and good SEO.

The quote from above comes from his article, Turn Your Company Into a Content Empire by Using These 4 Steps. He says that if you choose a good platform but your audience isn’t there, you won’t reach them no matter how many resourceful articles and tips you post. By reverse engineering the demographic you’re aiming at, then evaluating the results, you can find out where your customers are and the best way to reach them. Vaynerchuk also reminds marketers to respect the platform and audience by understanding how the platform reaches people and considering what your audience wants to know, instead of what you want to say.
I have worked with thousands of businesspeople and found something amazing. The owners of under performing businesses almost always work just as hard, and sometimes even harder, than the owners of successful ones. At first glance, this doesn’t seem to make sense – until you dig a little deeper and realise that the reason their hard work is getting them nowhere, is that they mistake movement for progress.
Maybe you’ve noticed (ha) that in the current online marketing landscape, it’s harder and harder to get your content noticed. The competition is insanely fierce! That means everyone’s attention is spread thin. But all hope is not lost, aspiring unicorns!
