The quote above comes from a Tech in Asia article titled Twitter Story and Tips from @AskAaronLee. In the article, Aaron states that monitoring both your own brand and competitors online could provide insight on how to position your product in the future. He also says that businesses should never try to sell on Twitter, instead, they should focus on engaging and assisting their followers with relevant problems.
This gives a marketer an unprecedented number of customers to reach with product and service offerings, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The interactive nature of the internet facilitates immediate communication between businesses and consumers, allowing businesses to respond quickly to the needs of consumers and changes in the marketplace.
At the heart of digital marketing is your owned media, which pretty much always takes the form of content. Every message your brand broadcasts can generally be classified as content, whether it’s your ‘About Us’ page, your product descriptions, blog posts, ebooks, infographics, or social media posts. Content helps convert your website visitors into leads and customers, and helps to raise your brand’s profile online — and when it’s optimized, it can also boost any efforts you have around search/organic traffic. Whatever your goal, you’re going to need to use owned content to form your digital marketing strategy.

13. Complete and Optimize Your Site’s Metadata – Metadata on your website (like title tags, descriptions, and alt text) is a critical component of your website’s SEO. Leaving it out can negatively impact how you show up in search results.
What I usually do is… if I see a website I don’t recognize, but I want to click on it, I’ll Google that website first. If a lot of stuff comes up and I like what I see then I feel a little safer visiting the site.
I use many of these and glad to discover some news ones too. I’m preferring Post Planner over Buffer. I find it easier to use, finding new content and scheduling it easily, with the app mixing the types of content for me in post order (by my rules) even if I don’t add them that way. I’m a big fan of Wistia, Salesforce, Canva, Unbounce, Mixpanel… so many good recs here. I’m going to check out Medium.
Are you using a content marketing platform by any chance? I’ve been searching a lot around this topic and I’ve found some great information about Contentools. Looks to be suited to different types users as well. What do you think about it? Thanks in advance!
Very impressive and comprehensive list you’ve compiled here, Pawan! If I could make a suggestion, check out DrumUp-employee advocacy platform, social media management and content curation and scheduling tool. It also has a built-in analytics feature for your social media activity and employee advocacy program. If you find it interesting, do consider adding it to you list 🙂
Also, they launched a brand new Site Audit tool. They are still polishing it but it already gets some enthusiastic reviews. Unlike other tools, it does not just show you website errors and SEO issues and relevant recommendations. It lets you create your own issues and configurations for the site audit. I think it’s really great in the constantly changing environment of today’s SEO.
I’ve tried out a lot of these tools out myself when I was doing some research into the best marketing tools. I wrote up a list of 150+ of the Best Marketing Tools available and you’ll be glad to know OptinMonster is one of them!

A very very comprehensive list of Content Marketing tools (it’s the best I have seen so far). But I think this list is incomplete without WriterAccess. Not working for them, but I have used the platform to source for high quality contents too!!
In other words, they work hard and put in a huge number of hours, doing the wrong things! For example: A well written advertisement, placed in the wrong section of the wrong publication will still fail, no matter how hard you work at it.
This is a very nice list of Marketing tools. I think the success of any business is much bank on tools we use in our organization. A good combination of tools helps the organization to develop the sales. I am using Tagove tool for customer support. It provides live chat, screen sharing, Co-browsing and voice call. Click here to see more about tagove. https://www.tagove.com/
that’s one comprehensive list! If you ever update this list you can check out dot.vu. It’s an interactive content platform that allows you to easily create polls, surveys, personality tests, interactive video quizzes, and more.
In essence, promotion is simply finding your audience and sticking your work in front of them wherever they’re at. You spent the time to create some truly worthwhile content, so why not spend the time to get it in front of your target audience?
If you don’t have a dedicated phone number for the website that you can track calls on, visit HostedNumbers.com. They’ll issue you a unique tracking phone number and then forward every call you get to your main number while tracking the number of calls you receive, who called, how long the call lasted…etc. It’s surprisingly inexpensive.
