Thanks Megan for sharing these resource. I have been in this digital marketing space for quite long. Thanks Larry for wonderful platform.I do agree with you about there is no specific course on online marketing. No wonder we live in a world where there is no specific course to teach this skill. I think the industry body should come with something for all. But seeing exponential growth of this industry. Since, we are moving to mobile world, the next step would be taking the online marketing to the mobile platform. That search will be narrowed.I am fascinated about the word “search””. Because, the entire online marketing is about “searching”” for things.ThanksAjish
This is fantastic Infographic, have you considered to add it in a shared Mind Map? Something like Mindmeister? I would like to give my input into Email Marketing tool list: MailerLite (https://www.mailerlite.com/ ) – a rising star and Aweber (https://www.aweber.com/ ) – well known long living player in email marketing industry.
Excellent blog! Having these content marketing tools is very important because it can give us tips on the new technologies that fit our needs. You need to try and find a delicate balance between what is logical and engaging to a reader, and what is logical to the Search Engine. Just like any business, online or offline, you need to figure out the right products and services to sell to your target market. But to do that, and make a great living as an online entrepreneur, you need the right marketing strategy and tactics.
How much can you find out about a hostname or IP address? As it turns out – a lot. Check out our cool DNS lookup tool which also provides information like who owns the domain, what the nameservers for the domain are and who owns the block of IP addresses your hostname is from.
While Litmus offers some outstanding features on their paid plans (cough…Builder…cough), they also provide free email tools that you’ll wonder how you ever lived without. That’s why they take the next three spots on our list.

Oracle Marketing Cloud. In December of 2012, Eloqua published an infographic called the Social Business Shift. While it’s a nice graphic, it doesn’t strictly focus on content marketing; it instead focuses on tools with a social component such as Kiva and Kickstarter for crowd funding, or Taleo for talent sourcing.
Jesse – thanks for your note, but Google is merely focusing (still!) on placing a solution. If you email me, I’ve just written a paper on the entire set of systemic issues that need to be managed that are outside our purview and idiosyncratic, based on change, consensus, buy-in, relationships, etc. There are 13 distinct steps (starting from an idea) that buyers go through to enlist colleagues, figure out if they can fix a problem internally, etc, that buyers go through before they can bring in a new solution. Sales enters at step 10. The Google material isn’t doing anything really different. email@example.com and, btw, my first name is ‘Sharon Drew’ 🙂
There are countless PPC channels to choose from, and it can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. The key, as with most things in business, is to focus on one thing at a time. Pick ONE channel to start with and invest 1–3 months on that channel and that channel alone.
When considering your available digital marketing channels or assets to incorporate into your strategy, it’s helpful to first consider the bigger picture to avoid getting overwhelmed. The owned, earned, and paid media framework helps to categorize the digital ‘vehicles’, assets, or channels that you’re already using.
