Below are some sample marketing courses all students can expect to take while at university. It should be noted that many of these courses may also be taken as a part of a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) curriculum with an emphasis in marketing.
Whatever your overarching goal is, you need to know how to measure it, and more important, actually be able to measure it (e.g., have the right digital marketing tools in place to do so). How you measure the effectiveness of your digital strategy will be different for each business and dependent on your goal(s), but it’s vital to ensure you’re able to do so, as it’s these metrics which will help you adjust your strategy in the future.
Expanded Text Ads are 2x bigger than old text ads. The new ads are designed to maximize your presence and performance on mobile search results with a bigger headline and an extra long description. (And with a mobile-first mindset, whatever works on mobile is going to get applied to desktop too.)
This is a very nice list of Marketing tools. I think the success of any business is much bank on tools we use in our organization. A good combination of tools helps the organization to develop the sales. I am using Tagove tool for customer support. It provides live chat, screen sharing, Co-browsing and voice call. Step 3: Go to “Keyword Ideas” section, where you can choose from “Phrase match,” “Having same terms,” “Also rank for,” and “Search suggestions” options. Or you can see “All” keyword ideas in one list.
You should start everything you do in marketing with a strong understanding of your user. What keeps them awake at night? What burning questions do they need answers to? And what do they expect from you? Each step a user takes from cold prospect to warm lead to customer is a chance to learn more – and modify your brand communications accordingly.

This is probably my personal favorite. You think your copywriting is clear and conversational? Wrong! Despite what Lupe Fiasco says, we need to dumb it down. We talk about our own products everyday, so we understand the terminology more than the average user or customer ever will.
Cohen says to start with an internal content audit and add metadata for SEO. Monitor your current analytics (which type of content attracts most traffic, on what platforms?) and what’s happening on your social media to get an idea of what your target audience is interested in right now. Once you have an idea of what kind of content will do best, gather content from across your organization and integrate content curation into your overall editorial calendar. Don’t forget to measure and track the results of your curated content.
Are you using a content marketing platform by any chance? I’ve been searching a lot around this topic and I’ve found some great information about Contentools. Looks to be suited to different types of users as well. What do you think about it? Thanks in advance!

“This is a great program for developing marketing tools for your career. The coursework was very thorough, and the class discussions always helped see things through a different point of view – this helps in many ways. I recommend this program to anyone in business, or anyone looking to start a business. It will help navigate you around the pitfalls so many people fall into when starting up their own venture. ”
Sharon you are right. Up until now, “marketing software” has focused solely on retention marketing and brand awareness. But what about acquiring new leads and customers? I have not seen a platform that completes the circle.
This is a great list! I’d also add guest posting on high profile blogs in your industry. You benefit from their reach, get backlinks, and exposure to a wider audience. And bragging rights to add to your “As Seen On” banner!
